SEMARANG – Nissan today launched its premium frame-based SUV, the new Nissan Terra in Semarang, Central Java. The new SUV premiers in the special exhibition event held at Paragon Mall, from August 31–September 2, 2018.

Pre-booking price is starting from Rp 460 million. The deliveries will start from third quarter of fiscal year 2018.

The new Nissan Terra combines advanced driving technology with top-in-class engine performance and spacious comfort, allowing customers to take on any journey with confidence.
The launch of the new Nissan Terra marks the latest step in Nissan's product offensive for Indonesia as part of mid-term business plan Nissan M.O.V.E. 2022 for the region.

Nissan launched Terra in the Gaikindo International Indonesia Auto Show earlier this month. It received positive response from customer visiting the event.

"With the new Nissan Terra, Nissan meets Indonesia's increasing demand for mid-size SUVs", said Eiichi Koito, president director Nissan Motor Indonesia.

The SUV segment has become one of Indonesian customers' favorite segments and caters to their desire to conquer various terrains in the country. With improving infrastructure, new highways connecting cities and regions, there is a demand for an intelligent vehicle with high-ground clearance that can handle both urban and off-road challenges."

The new Nissan Terra is designed to maximize comfortable driving experience for all kinds of terrains; from conquering crowded city roads with potholes and flooded streets, to smooth driving on highways and facing off road challenges. It boasts a top-in-class engine, versatile ladder-frame chassis, and best-in-class ground clearance.

"The combination of high performance, best-in-class cabin space, and safety features from Nissan Intelligent Mobility provides Indonesian customers with confidence and excitement to take on any adventure with family and friends. We believe Nissan Terra is greatly welcomed in Semarang," said Koito.

Packed with Nissan Intelligent Mobility features, the Nissan Terra will ensure an exciting and safe driving. It is the first SUV in the market with Intelligent Rear View Mirror, allowing for an unobstructed view to the driver through a built-in LCD monitor. Blind Spot Warning and Lane Departure Warning ensure the highest levels of vehicle safety. The new Nissan Terra's Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection technology makes it easier for the driver to park the car easily, either in rest area or at the destination.

Providing comfort in a capable and modern design, the new Nissan Terra offers spacious seating arrangements for up to 7 people, with the best-in-class cabin space. The third row of the seat can also be folded flat, to accommodate luggage requirements for the whole family.

Add more excitement by tackling off road adventures when you reach your destination, thanks to the new Nissan Terra's Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, and 4WD More Switch that can handle challenges on any terrain.
Under its new mid-term plan M.O.V.E 2022*, Nissan has been expanding its product offer for both Nissan and Datsun brands, starting with launch of the Datsun CROSS in March 2018.

Nissan will continue this product offensive by introducing a range of cars across various segments in Indonesia, including a new SUV and MPV.
