Yangon – Edaran Tan Chong Motor (Myanmar) Co., Ltd. ("ETCMM"), Distributor of Nissan vehicles and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (Malaysia), officially launches the All-New Nissan Terra to the public of Yangon.

In his speech, Dato' Cheah Sam Kip, Chairman of Edaran Tan Chong Motor Myanmar said, "The design of the All-New Nissan Terra was conceived based on the driving needs of Asian customers as a whole. As customers now increasingly expect more from their vehicles, Nissan had to create a vehicle that could become an integral part of customers' lives".

Dato' Cheah further adds, "The fully imported from Thailand All-New Nissan Terra design is all-capable, all-practical, and reliable for everyday use while also giving our customers the ability to switch from normal daily life to becoming adventurous. With that, we believe the all-new Nissan Terra will become one of Nissan's most popular models in this country, famous for its Go-Anywhere versatility ".

Ayako Nakamura, Vice President of Independent Markets Management, Nissan Asia & Oceania, mentioned in her speech, "We are very pleased to share that the All-New Nissan Terra is a vehicle produced in Southeast Asia for Southeast Asia. Myanmar's Nissan Terra is produced in neighboring Thailand, underlining the importance of this region as a world-class production hub. As you can see, Southeast Asia is very important for Nissan and especially Myanmar because there is a growing demand for SUVs in this region".

With the new model addition line-up of the Nissan Terra, Nissan meets Southeast Asia's increasing demand for full-size 7-seaters SUVs. The SUV segment remains to be in the top three volumes and growth drivers for Southeast Asia.

The frame-based SUV is built on more than 60 years of Nissan SUV heritage, which includes iconic models such as the Nissan Patrol, Nissan Safari, Nissan Terrano and Nissan Xterra.

The All-New Nissan Terra combines top-in-class engine performance with spacious comfort and the latest Nissan Intelligent Mobility features, allowing customers to take on any journey with confidence.

In the same year, the first Nissan 3S Outlet in Kamayut Township, Yangon opens to offers full services to the local consumers. To-date, there are 8 Nissan 3S Outlets spread out across Myanmar region to serve the increasing consumer needs and demands.
